Active learning is a superior way to learn

Lecture-style learning is outdated and promotes linear thinking & poor conceptual understanding. In other words, students learn to think like their teacher & not for themselves. Active learning is any process where students engage in learning through projects, discussion, & experiments that offer meaning and context to a subject. Active learning increases knowledge gained & retained. Students learn deeper & keep that knowledge longer.

Agora Prep Academy is a unique, leading-edge preparatory environment for students in grades 1 – 12. We believe to truly engage children in this generation and future generations, we must shift the educational paradigm and start evolving from traditional “schooling.” We inspire students to engage in their learning and implement a unique strategy to allow them to interact and engage with the content being taught. By doing so we transform student’s curiosities to discovery and encourage a complete generation of open-minded, investigative, inventive, and capable learners.
