- Support students to achieve success in academic, behavior, social, life skills and co-op situations.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team that is diverse and multicultural.
- Contribute to the learning development and integration of all students by creating a safe and supportive environment.
- Experience working with students in multiple groupings and in a variety of grade levels.
- Learn from students who are genius in their own unique ways. Work with students who are ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
- Learn behaviour management techniques and strategies. Ability to implement behaviour management plans and safety plans.
- Foster an environment of acceptance, love, acceptance, respect, and mastery.
- Engage with educators who are incredibly talented in the provision of customized and curated learning solutions for students.
- Enjoy fun development days and meetings while reflecting on best practices and emerging curricular ideas.
- Interact with parents and learn how to approach difficult conversations while establishing ongoing trust.
- Lead and manage after-school clubs according to your own interest and strengths (music, drama, dance, math, science, etc.)
- Be part of an extended work family that empowers a close, loving relationship and a healthy work culture.

Before commencing placement, candidate will need the following:
- Vulnerable sector check (within past 6 months).
- Reference letter from someone who knows the candidate (short description of the candidate’s character and why they would be a good fit).
- Filling out of required paperwork and signing off on the Employee Handbook before commencing.
